Witte Raaf, otherwise
known as Miep???

When the building of the boat started, we needed a name for her as soon as possible. That name was Miep. Why?
The boat builder kept many chickens and his favourite chicken was Miep. In addition, she was a black hen. As Miep pottered daily about Miep's moulds, the connection was easily made and this is the story of how our boat was actually named after a chicken.
